Happy Friday everyone, there’s a lot going on in the world had to bust out my @nike EQUALITY t-shirt, stay as positive as you can and safe too. Wanted to show you guys some different exercises I did today! Block deadlifts : 3 sets of 8 reps with my 10RM. Barbell rows 3 sets of my 8RM till failure. Lying tricep stretch extensions 3 sets of 8 with my 10RM. Used 37.5lb DB it killed my triceps. Weighted Chin-Ups using a 25lb plate - 3 sets till failure. Weighted from today BW: 75ish Saw the German beast @micha_bln_ hit 60kg for a triple and thought I’d go for it. This was my second set as the first didn’t film. Then some back off sets with 40, usually pull higher but was testing today. I also went for 80 which went to 90 degrees and stayed there😂. I hate to make excuses but this thick bar does make weighted calisthenics harder, but will hopefully serve me well when I get back to the gym. Weighted Calisthenics numbers are not my focus by any means and haven’t even touched weighted in 5 or so weeks, just focussing on skills and handstands. I have found that my front lever has regressed since taking them out so going to add them back in. I think muscle ups or explosive pulls could serve the same purpose, but I haven’t been doing those. Even though it’s not my focus right now I may try and compete in streetlifting (weighted calisthenics) in the future, after I achieve what I want with skills. One of the best chin up variations I’ve done is the 30sec chin up. Start with chin over the bar (climb up anyway how) chin over bar and time yourself 30seconds and hold on as long as possible on the way down. 3 rounds of that Wil have your upper back and arms pumped and swole. Tällä kaudella onkin ollut mielenkiintoiset leuanvetovariaatiot. Täyden liikeradan rengasleuanvedot, joista tykkään ihan älyttömästi👌, sekä nämä vastaoteleuanvedot kuolleesta, lyhyellä (mini) stopilla. No koska on kova viikko meneillään halusin tietysti päästä vetämään maksimiraudoilla. Luonnollisesti mulle iskee vähän hätä ja stoppailut tuntuu vaikeilta. Lisäpainoleuanveto 5x5 x 58 kg (yhteispaino 136,8 kg) kehonpaino 78,8 kg. Ihan hauskoja, vaikkakin turhia tasaluvut kun 5x5 yhteispaino nyt yli 300 paunalla jee! 301,59 lbs tarkalleen. Levypainoja en jaksa aina kantaa kämpästä dippitelineen luota 3 kerroksesta, joten päätin tehdä taas näillä kahvakuulilla. Huomasin, että vapaan tyylin lisäpainoleuanveto on omalla tavallaan tekniikkalaji. Jos tekee 1-2 viikkoa välissä esimerkiksi eristetyllä tekniikalla, tai 1/2 osanostoja, niin jalat ja yläkroppa eivät oikein pelaa vedon ajoituksen kanssa yhteen. Oikeastaan vasta 3 vai 4 sarjan kohdalla taas tuli vanhasta muistista "se oikea" vetotekniikka esiin.
