What changed between these 2 pictures?
Well, 7 years to start.
Knowing how to pose and smile for the camera 😜
I'd say the weight must have been pretty much the same....but way less body fat and way more muscle mass.
But what truly changed can't be noticed in a picture.
And really changed is my mindset!
How I perceive my body, my health, my hunger, and cravings,
How I deal with my emotions.
How I understood what really makes me happy long term!
Those are the things that really change.
When I was 28, I had gone through a lot already but was still discovering myself.
I was just starting my battle with my self-love and acceptance.
I was learning to follow my taste, my instinct, my feelings and not those imposed by society!
I was learning to differentiate physical hunger from emotional hunger.
I was learning that I didn't have to drink just because everybody else was drinking. I didn't have to eat what everybody else was eating. And I didn't have to follow the path that everybody else was following.
And something inside me started changing.
Wings started to emerge.
And before I noticed they were there, I jumped!
Transformation doesn't happen from night to day.
It's not a moment of epiphany that changes your entire life.
It's a slow process. It's a constant battle. It's a life time project.
And I'm glad I changed! And I wish you can change too and discover yourself!
You deserve it so much!
You deserve to look in the mirror and absolutely love what you see!
It's not easy, but it's possible!
